These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the remote writing subscription services provided by JOA Writing Services (legally registered as JOA WRITINGS SERVICES (PTY) LTD) (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By subscribing to our Monthly Club or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Service Description, Pricing, and Delivery
JOA Writing Services provides senior-level writing that stays on-brief, moves quickly, and sounds like you.
Subscription Pricing: The standard value of the Monthly Club is $450/month. We currently offer an “Early subscriber care” rate of $90/month.
Unlimited Queue: Subscribers may add unlimited queued briefs to their writing board, including landing pages, email sequences, case studies, founders’ posts, website copy, and product messaging.
Active Requests and Turnaround: We process one active request at a time. We aim to deliver polished copy on average within two business days (48-hour delivery) per active request.
Submitting Requests: You may submit requests via a brief, a voice note, or a rough doc.
3. Revisions and Feedback
Writing Board: You will manage your briefs, drafts, and feedback in one tidy queue.
Revision Process: Revisions are included. Feedback requests are treated as active tasks and will occupy your “one active request at a time” slot until the copy is finalized.
4. Pausing and Canceling
Flexibility: You may pause or cancel your subscription at any time.
Pausing: You can temporarily pause whenever the writing queue slows down. Pausing freezes your remaining billing cycle days for future use.
5. Intellectual Property
Upon full payment of your monthly subscription fee, you receive complete rights, ownership, and copyright to all final written deliverables. JOA Writing Services retains the right to display non-confidential deliverables in our portfolio to showcase our work, unless the client explicitly opts out in writing.
6. Acceptable Use and User Representations
By using JOA Writing Services, you warrant that you will not submit briefs or requests that involve illegal activities, hate speech, explicit content, or the infringement of third-party intellectual property rights. We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, JOA Writing Services shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, resulting from your use of our copy. Our maximum liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us in the preceding one (1) month of your subscription.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, based on our corporate registration in the Western Cape. As we operate remotely worldwide, local consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction may also apply.
